Solar Power

We have been living off the power grid for 11 years. We mostly uses solar power and a little wind power. We have 15 kw of solar panels up right now, about 65-75 kwh per day in the summer and 10-15 kwh in winter. We are running on 48 vdc the power comes off the solar panels at around 80-110 vdc we run it though a charge controller to step it down to 61 vdc and charges the batters.   we are unseeing a 48vdc to 220vac inverter.

  1. I feel very stupid right now. Let's just say I understood 1.5% of this post. Actually, it probably was less. Oh well.

    1. Don't feel too bad it's not as if most of it's easy to understand it's much easier to understand when you're looking at the stuff in person and have somebody telling you what it's all doing
